Subject: Re: Grail: "The Great Brightness" - "The dare of defiance"
A look of amusement comes over T'Nek's face.
"Trade ? I'm afraid you will not find much on Kerestia left that you
could want. I see that your race has not yet learnt to give of
yourselves without expecting something in return. That is sad, but
must be worked with. Unless you are in desperate need of Ice, I
suggest that Trade is not the best of ideas. Even their machines and
technology are useless."
A bell suddenly rang off in Frobo's mind. Vincent had mentioned
something about ice, but what was it. Quickly, he scanned through the
PADD in his hand, making sure to save the picture he was drawing for
later. Looking through the list, he finally found the message on ice.
Quickly, he stood up, much to the surprise to the crew.
"Actually, we could use some ice."
The crowd's attention suddenly turned to him for a moment. Half
of the faces looked as if they were expecting a punchline or something,
but the rest made Frobo feel a little nervous. He swallowed the saliva
that built itself up in his mouth and continued.
"The head of the Mess Hall requested that we gather some ice for
storing certain food stuff. With the problems we've been having lately
with the food replicators, we may have to resort to storing rations away.
For foods that need to be kept cold, ice would be a good thing to keep
around."
Frobo looked around, hand fidgeting with the PADD as the eyes
stared up at him.
